not sure, but she's cute, I have one like this my grandma made me from stockings! Her name is Gertrude! Love your blog, love the owl bookplate! and will visit again!
Glad you're back!! She's cute - I'm wondering if she is made out of leather - it sort of looks like distressed leather to me! :)

Dang it MB stuff like this drives me crazy...looks like fabric stiffener on body but could also be clay and the hat and dress..hmmm iron?
But...I'm going with a dolly covered and sculpted with clay then fired in kiln. There's a name for that old technique, but it 'slips' my mind. (:>)
Hmmm maybe she's not as hard as she looks. Vinyl? This is a tough one. :)
I was going to say concrete like Lisa, but I don't know...to bad we can't pass it around...LOL!
